Why "I trust God - it's people I don't trust" doesn't actually work that way

Usually, along the path of walking with someone on a healing journey, I end up sharing the trust pendulum. Safety is built on trust, and trust grows where there is safety. Sometimes we need to recognize how we derail from trust in order to recognize our power to step back into trust.

“Trust” is used in so many ways. But what is it really? And what is it not?
